Founded in 1931, South China Normal University (SCNU) is proudly a member ofChina’s “National 211 Project” and the “Double First Class University Plan” for its rapiddevelopment and numerous achievements in education and research. As the internationalwing of SCNU aiming to import and provide foreign educational resources for the localpeople, Nanhai Campus was established in the Nanhai IT Park in 2001, which is currently apart of the Fohan High-tech Zone. It has witnessed the startup, the growth and the expansionof SCNU’s international education programs. In 2018, SCNU established its InternationalUnited College on Nanhai Campus in cooperation with the University of Aberdeen (UK)，Curtin University (Australia), Saint Louis University (USA), and the University of Tours(France).

The International Business College (IBC) came into existence on Nanhai Campus in2013 and has evolved into a comprehensive school including the French department, theAccounting department, the International Finance department and the English languagecenter. IBC has been cooperating with more than 60 universities in both English-speakingand French-speaking countries. To better meet students’ needs and further enhance Englishlanguage teaching, IBC is recruiting 4 professional and proficient native ESL teachers!

Job Description:
Native ESL Teachers at IBC are expected to work 18 class hours (40 minutes each) perweek. Classes are split into two types: small classes (20-25 students) and big classes (40 or more students).

Duties:

1. Teaching ESL--- English as a Second Language
2. Lesson planning and preparation as well as curriculum development
3. Supervising tests and exams and giving level tests
4. Other tasks assigned by IBC and the English language center

Compensation package for Full Time ESL Teachers:
1. Pre-job training
2. Good salary (150K-200K RMB a year)
3. Housing allowance (24K) for residence in Foshan City
4. Flight allowance (10K-15K RMB)

Requirements:
1.Bachelor’s Degree or above in Education, Literature and Linguistics, Humanities andSocial Sciences, Preferably MA in TESOL/TEFL
2.TEFL/TESOL/CELTA Certificate
3.At least two years’ English Teaching experience, IELTS Teaching Experience Preferred
4.Native English Speakers from UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand
5.Energetic, cooperative, and dedicated
6.Aged below 55
7.All credentials must be notarized in candidates’ homeland.
