On the evening of December 6, the SITE Lecture Hall of Shipai Campus witnessed the final of the 9th Foreign Language Classic Drama Competition of South China Normal University. Several teacher guests of the International Business College (IBC), including Zhen Huayu, Sandy Bergeron, Aurelien Cardos and others presented the contest.

In this live competition, there were twelve teams from different language departments, including Japanese, English and French etc. Their splendid and distinctive theatrical performances all presented a wonderful audio-visual feast for the audience and got everyone quite impressed. After several rounds of fierce competition, finally the French major students stood out with the perfect interpretation of the stage play "Bel ami (beautiful friend)" and took the first place.

Just as the saying goes, Rome was not built in a day. In fact, in the absence of one month’s preparation time than other teams, behind scenes it was more than a month "Franllywood" crew directors, actors, and props giving full play to their spirit of hard work, unity and cooperation, along with repeated revision of script, rehearsal audition to gain the drama laurel. In the contest, we not only harvested honor, more importantly, we harvested the friendship of classmates struggling together, the spirit of unity and fraternity of cooperation, as well as the motivation of working hard consistantly.
