This forum has two themes, namely "Sino-foreign Cooperative Education and Internationalization of Education" and "Sino-foreign Cooperative Education and Foreign Language Teaching". Well-known experts in this field have been invited to conduct in-depth discussions through seminars and discussions. At the same time, the unveiling ceremony of the "Center for International Cooperative Education and Research of SCNU" was held by IBC and the American University Alliance.

Many domestic university leaders and well-known foreign scholars attended this forum, including Wu Jian, the Vice President of SCNU; Chen Zhenghong, Director of the Management Committee of Nanhai Campus; Zhou Liuyu, Director of the Exchange and Cooperation Office of the Department of Education of Guangdong Province; Wu Cicheng, Deputy District Chief of Nanhai District in Foshan City; Yu Biao, Director of Education Development Research Center of Nanhai District in Foshan City; Tan Weihong, the Deputy Director of SCNU International Cooperation Department. Representatives of the American University Alliance Mr. Donn Grinager, Ms. Anne Faucett; Professor Barbara Fennell, Dean of the Confucius Institute at the UK University of Aberdeen; and Dan Sloan, Patrick King, experts from the English Language Program of U.S. Department of State.

Moreover, More than a dozen famous domestic experts such as Researcher Zhou Mansheng, Deputy Director of the Advisory Committee of the National Center for Education Development Research of the Ministry of Education; Professor Liu Baocun, Dean of the Institute of International and Comparative Education at Beijing Normal University; Professor Ma Wanhua, Director of Peking University International Higher Education Research Center; Professor Shi Zhiqin of Tsinghua University; Professor Feng Weizhe of China Agricultural University; Professor Lin Jinhui of Xiamen University as well as representatives coming from affiliated departments of SCNU,other colleges and universities, and representatives from middle and high schools were invited to attend the forum.

At this forum, Vice president Wu Jian delivered a speech on behalf of the university. And Dean Wu Jianli, Lu Xiaozhong; Professor Lin Jinhui and Yun Qiaoyun presided over the conference. Vice President Wu Jian and IBC Professor Wu Jianli made respective keynote speeches on "Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools: the Path of Cultivating Innovative Talents" and "Curriculum Internationalization and Sino-foreign Cooperative Education".

In general, this forum provides a platform for deep communication and idea exchanging opportunity for experts, teachers and educational administrators at home and abroad in concerning fields. Also, it can be believed that the forum is hopefully to promote both the research and practice of Sino-foreign cooperative education in our school.
