International Business College participated in the 7th National Annual Conference of Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools

On November 10 to 12, the 7th National Annual Conference of Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools was successfully held in Zhengzhou, Henan. The theme of this year's meeting is "Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools: To Improve Quality, to Serve the Overall Strategies and to Enhance Capability". It is supported by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. Co-sponsored by Center of Research on Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools, Xiamen University; the Education Department of Henan Province; and Branch for Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools, China Association of Higher Education (BCFCRS, CAHE). The conference was undertaken by Zhongyuan University of Technology. Wu Jian, the vice-president of SCNU was invited to attend this annual meeting and give a keynote report on “Reflections on the Development of Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools in the Context of the Belt and Road Initiative”. In addition, Chen Huan, Director of the Office of International Business College (IBC); Ma Zanjun, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance; and Zhong Nan, Program Director of the International Cooperative Education Center also presented the meeting, and later were invited to attend the inaugural meeting of BCFCRS, CAHE and the first member representative assembly.

This annual meeting was also attended by Wang Shushan, the Deputy Secretary-General of Henan Provincial Government; Qu Zhenyuan, the president of China Association of Higher Education; Li Qiyong, Deputy Director of the International Department of the Ministry of Education; Wang Lisheng, Director of the Academic Center of Ministry of Education; Lin Jinhui, Director from Center of Research on Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools, Xiamen University. And more than 500 representatives from the education governmental departments of 25 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country, including university presidents, directors of international offices, experts and scholars engaged in Sino-foreign cooperative education.
