On March 21, the first international and Hong Kong-Macao-Taiwan exchange work award ceremony of South China Normal University was held in Shipai campus. The International Business College was awarded the “Advanced Unit” and Dean Wu Jianli attended to receive the award. Director Chen Huan, the assistant to the dean, was awarded the “Outstanding Individual”.

The purpose of this award was to reward and commend units and individuals that had made outstanding contributions or achievements in international and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan exchanges in various fields of the university, so as to better promote all units to carry out international and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan exchanges in an active and orderly manner. A few days ago, after the advocacy of the school's international development group, individual application, unit recommendation and out-of-school expert evaluation, a total of 14 units and 18 staff won the award.

On the same day, SCNU also held a special lecture on “The Status Quo and Planning of Education Internationalization in Guangdong Province”. Li Jinjun, Director of the Division of Exchange and Cooperation of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, was invited to give a lecture as a guest, and awarded prizes to the winning units and individuals after the lecture. More than 50 persons in charge of international affairs and foreign affairs secretaries from various units of the school participated in the event.
