Under the guidance of Office for Exchange and Cooperation, Department of Education of Guangdong Province, the first International Education Conference for Guangdong Private Universities was successfully held at Zhuhai College of Jilin University on October 28. Being an evaluation expert on Sino-foreign cooperative education of the Ministry of Education, Dean Wu Jianli of IBC was invited to attend this conference and delivered a keynote speech on "Declaration and Implementation of Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools".

Specifically, Dean Wu first explained in detail the application instructions for Sino-foreign cooperatively-run schools in terms of policy basis, declaration timetable and procedures; and then analyzed the notes for appraisal of Sino-foreign cooperation in unning schools from three bases of academic resources, international background and legal support. Finally, taking the undergraduate education program of real estate finance jointly established by by South China Normal University and the University of Aberdeen as an example, Prof. Wu presented her views on talents training from development of training scheme, curriculum construction and teaching reform, construction of international teaching staff. Also, she shared her experience in the management of Sino-foreign cooperative education programs from meeting system, foreign teacher management and financial system.

In addition, the conference was also attended by Li Jinjun, Director of the Exchange and Cooperation Office of the Department of Education of Guangdong Province; Tang Zhenfu, Director of the Foreign-related Quality Assurance Department of China Education Association for International Exchange; Liu Chuanhua, the President of Guangdong Higher Education Management Association as well as representatives from international departments of Guangdong private colleges and universities.
