On June 29, the inauguration ceremony of the University of Aberdeen branch of the International Business College Student Union was held in the conference room on the first floor of the Nanhai campus comprehensive building. This is a useful exploration of the college's new model of “integration of class and group”. Dean Wu Jianli, Party Branch Secretary Li Xinqiang, Vice Dean Yun Qiaoyun, Vice Dean Chai Shaoming, teachers from various departments and offices of the college, and all students majoring in finance attended this exciting moment.

The finance major of the International Business College adheres to the training concept of “international applied talents” and adopts a mode of China-Foreign cooperation in running school. Students can choose to study at the University of Aberdeen in the UK according to their learning ability and foreign language level during their studies. In August of this year, 23 students from the class of 2015 will go to the University of Aberdeen to study for a bachelor's degree in real estate finance. Dean Wu Jianli sent a message to the students: “Going abroad is an opportunity for everyone to grow up. No matter where you are, you must not only keep ‘love’ and ‘gratefulness’ in your heart forever, but also face various challenges with ‘wisdom’, and I hope that every student can contribute his own strength to the beauty of the world, to better represent IBC, SCNU and China.”

In order to strengthen our overseas students' self-education, self-management and self-service and better help them grow up, IBC took reference the reality of the University of Aberdeen and finance major, set up the first overseas student union creatively. IBC took this as an opportunity to actively strengthen the exploration and practice of the “Integrated Class and League” construction model for college students. We hope to use this new model to build a platform for interaction and mutual assistance for students living in foreign countries, and also hope that overseas students will become a bridge for communication and exchange between students studying overseas and domestic teachers and students, forming a student management service organization resembling “small family” overseas and “big family” in China.
