On the afternoon of November 16, 2017, the opening ceremony of the 3rd Talent Festival and Urban Business Planning Competition hosted by the Youth League Committee and Student Union of the International Business College and undertaken by the finance major was held in the small cinema on the Nanhai campus.Li Xinqiang, secretary of the Party branch of the International Business College, Ma Zanjun, Executive Deputy Director of the Department of Finance, Shi Shuxing from the School of Urban Culture, and student counselors Wu Lingfang, Liang Gengxiong and Wu Mianru attended the opening ceremony. This event was for the entire Nanhai campus, and students were actively participating.

First of all, Secretary Li Xinqiang delivered a speech for this Caijing Festival, and he succinctly explained the deep meaning of “Caijing”, hoping to provide a platform for students to practice their professional knowledge and exercise their professional skills through the holding of the Caijing Festival. At the same time, he also hoped that students of all grades and majors would promote and grow together in cooperation and communication, and promote learning and put what they have learned into practice through competition. Amid warm applause, Secretary Li Xinqiang and the guests jointly launched the opening ceremony of the Caijing Festival.

After the opening ceremony, the first sub-event urban business planning competition officially began. Chen Kehong, a student of financial class of 2016, first introduced the rules of the competition, and then, the top 10 students in the pre-competition design of 16 groups of contestants went on stage to show their wonderful works, and some contestants also shared their rich experiences in participating in the competition. After the contestants showed their works, the judge Shi Shuxing gave a very high appraisal of the design of the competition, affirmed the efforts of the designers of the competition, and praised the contestants for their ingenious and painstaking design. He believed that all the contestants would feel and gain something, and their future designs would be better. After intense and rigorous data calculation, the competition was finally won by Yin Xiang, Lin Jiaer and Lin Bing’er.

        The opening ceremony of the third Caijing Festival and the Urban Business Planning Competition ended successfully with everyone’s laughter. We believe that the subsequent Caijing Festival series will be more exciting.
