In April of 2018, the 4th Innovation and Entrepreneurship Project on the Youth Red Dream Journey of "Internet Plus" Competition was officially launched. IBC attached great importance to this competition, actively organizing the participation of students’ project team, and arranged mentors for each project team to give  instructions. On September 25, IBC’s project, "Xiangyin--Looking for the Beautiful Countryside" was awarded Outstanding Innovation and Entrepreneurship Project on the 2018 Youth Red Dream Journey of "Internet Plus" Competition in Guangdong Province.

Liping County of Guizhou Province is a prominent red cultural label of China's revolutionary ancient district. This project, "Xiangyin--Looking for the Beautiful Countryside" aimed to take the dream road of Liping less-developed area, by mining the development potential of rural tourism in Liping County of Guizhou, to develop its rural tourism in the form of public welfare, improve local cultural visibility, increase the local youth's employment opportunities, increase the income of local residents, promote the development of ethnic minority handicrafts and other related industries. The project actively explored the self-forming mechanism of rural tourism in Dimen village and further probed into the feasibility of the implementation of this rural development model in similar areas, with the aim of promoting and establishing a new sustainable rural tourism development model.

In April of this year, the project team arrived in Liping County of Guizhou Province, to come to an early visit to the village, and to make some related preparations for the project development. On June 21, the project team was awarded the "Young Red Dream Journey" flag as one of the nine " Young Red Dream Journey " funded project team. On July 18, the team officially went to the Dimen village to carry out a 15-day research activity in the countryside, made a series of research for the development of project, and successfully completed the corresponding project plan.

The competition encouraged college students to integrate innovation and entrepreneurship skill with education, entered into the Red Revolution, helped precise poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, cultivated students' attainment of innovation and entrepreneurship, and improved students' ability of innovation and entrepreneurial.
